How many ARMM Ambulate devices do we require for our facility?
We recommend purchasing one device per every 10 users requiring regular ambulation training to ensure multiple users can use ambulation at the same time. We also recommend purchasing individual wheelchair connectors & walker connectors for every wheelchair and walker for each patient that will be ambulating.
DO YOU HAVE A PRODUCT INSTRUCTION MANUAL FOR THE ARMM AMBULATE?
Our product manual and instruction videos are available on our website. Users must log in for access. Every device shipped is shipped with a product manual in English, French & Spanish.
CAN THE ARMM AMBULATE BE USED WITH ANY MANUAL WHEELCHAIR OR WALKER/ROLLATOR?
The ARMM Ambulate is designed to be versatile with, but please use our Compatibility Tool to confirm compatibility with your specific manual wheelchair or walker/rollator.
ARE THERE ANY MEDICAL CONDITIONS THAT COULD PREVENT SOMEONE FROM USING THE ARMM AMBULATE?
Yes, it is your responsibility as the healthcare professional to decide for which users the ARMM Ambulate is safe. Use of the ARMM Ambulate may not be appropriate for some users who do not have sufficient cognitive or mobility function. The ARMM Ambulate is not for all users and you must use your judgment as a healthcare professional in the same way to decide which exercises are safe.
IS THE ARMM AMBULATE DEVICE EASY TO INSTALL?
Yes, the ARMM Ambulate Device is designed for easy installation with clear instructions. NO TOOLS REQUIRED. We recommend the healthcare professional install the ARMM Ambulate device by attaching the wheelchair connectors to the users wheelchair and the walker connector to the users walker.
CAN THE ARMM AMBULATE BE ADJUSTED FOR DIFFERENT HEIGHTS?
Yes, the ARMM Ambulate Device is adjustable to accommodate different user heights as well as gait patterns, ensuring comfort and proper functionality. Please refer to the manual on instruction to adjust both height and length of the ARMM Ambulate device. If you have any questions please contact us at info@bisep.org.
DOES THE ARMM AMBULATE HAVE A PATIENT WEIGHT RESTRICTION?
We recommend that the weight limit per patient using the ARMM Ambulate device is no more than 250 pounds.
CAN I USE THE ARMM AMBULATE ON ONLY ONE SIDE?
Yes, the ARMM Ambulate can function with just one side (either side) on it to allow the healthcare worker close support to the patient walking. Please note that turning with the device is more difficult when only one side of the ARMM device is used.
DOES THE ARMM DEVICE WORK WITH PAEDIATRIC MOBILITY AIDS?
The ARMM Device is primarily designed for adult use. For paediatric applications, please consult with our customer support team at info@bisep.org for guidance.

The ARMM Ambulate Device is constructed from high-quality steel, durable materials to ensure long-lasting performance and safety.
HOW MUCH DOES THE ARMM AMBULATE DEVICE WEIGH?
The ARMM Device is designed to be lightweight yet durable. Approximately it weighs 7 pounds per side.
DOES THE ARMM AMBULATE HAVE A STRONG GRIP FOR USERS TO HOLD ONTO?
Yes, the ARMM Ambulate is made from powder-coated steel with an anti-slip coating, providing a secure and comfortable grip for users to hold onto.
HAS THE ARMM AMBULATE BEEN TESTED?
Yes we have performed multiple clinical trials on the ARMM Ambulate in many health organizations. Please see our Research/News section to learn more.
IS THE ARMM AMBULATE HEALTH CANADA & FDA APPROVED?
Yes, the ARMM Ambulate is considered a Class 1 Medical device and is registered and approved under both Health Canada & Food and Drug Administration Act (FDA).
CAN I USE THE ARMM AMBULATE WITH AN ELECTRIC WHEELCHAIR?
No, the ARMM Ambulate is not compatible with electric wheelchairs, only manual wheelchairs.
HOW OFTEN SHOULD I CHECK THE ARMM AMBULATE DEVICE FOR MAINTENANCE?
We recommend performing a routine check each time before using the ARMM Ambulate to ensure all components are functioning correctly and securely attached.
HOW DO I MAINTAIN THE ARMM AMBULATE DEVICE?
Regularly check for any wear and tear, clean it with disinfected and water, and ensure all components are secure. Review our videos provided with the instruction manual to review maintenance procedures.
CAN THE ARMM AMBULATE DEVICE BE USED OUTDOORS?
The ARMM Device is designed for use on flat indoor terrain. Although it can be used outdoors, we recommend extreme caution ensuring the walking path is free of debris and is considered a flat service. If you do use outdoors, please inspect the device very carefully before usage.
WHAT SHOULD I DO IF THE ARMM AMBULATE DEVICE BECOMES DIFFICULT TO ADJUST?
If the ARMM Device becomes stiff or difficult to adjust, apply a small amount of lubricant to the moving parts and check for any debris or damage. Please see instruction manual for further instruction.
WHAT ARE THE SIGNS THAT THE ARMM AMBULATE DEVICE NEEDS SERVICING?
Look for any unusual noises, difficulty in adjustment, or visible wear and tear. If you notice any of these signs, contact our customer support for assistance at info@bisep.org.
WHAT INSPIRED THE CREATION OF THE ARMM AMBULATE DEVICE?
The ARMM Device was inspired by the need for enhanced mobility solutions that empower users to maintain their independence and improve their quality of life. While working as a registered Kinesiologist, our Founder observed this problem first hand; this inspired him to create a solution.
IS THERE ASSEMBLY REQUIRED FOR THE ARMM AMBULATE DEVICE?
The ARMM device does require some assembly when you receive the device. The device is fully assembled but you will need to set up the wheelchair connectors as well as the walker/rollator connectors. After the initial installation, it will be easy to connect & remove the ARMM Ambulate & Connectors. We recommend the healthcare professional install these connectors.
HOW MANY ARMM TRANSFER DEVICES DO WE NEED FOR HOME USE?
We recommend one ARMM Transfer device per individual needing assistance with transfers. The device is designed for personal use, making it an ideal solution for anyone with mobility challenges who needs help moving between beds, chairs, and other locations. If you plan on using the ARMM Transfer device with multiple users, we recommend purchasing individual wheelchair connectors for every wheelchair.

Yes, we offer a satisfaction guarantee. If you're not happy with your purchase, you can return it within 30 days for a refund.
